Because if your hosting cannot permit the use of DNS, you cannot configure this in any way. When a web server is not configured for multiple DNS services, any domain pointing to their DNS will just show their front page. Furthermore, if your hosting uses long URLs (e.g. someserver.somehosting.com/somearea/subarea/0000/), it is better to have a short domain instead. |

If you can, ask him the DNS and IP information, and modify it so it properly points to your hosting.
